The 10th Annual Kiwanis 4-Ball Scramble Tournament will be be held at Rock Creek Golf Club on July 30, 2010. The tournament will begin with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Following golf, lunch will be provided by Willy T's Chicken Fingers. Corporate sponsors for this year's event are Terry Thompson Chevrolet and Hartman, Blackmon & Kilgore, O.C. Certified Public Accountants & Consultants. Our annual golf tournament is the primary means for our club to raise money each year. Our ability to provide financial support to worthwhile causes is directly dependent on the success of our golf tournament. So far this year the Fairhope club has provided key support to Bookin 4 Books, which provided $18,900 in much needed funding for the public school libraries at Fairhope's High, Middle, Newton, Intermediate, Elementary, and K-1 schools. The club also funds the Michael Moore Memorial Scholarship, which is a $1000 annual scholarship, renewable for four years. In addition the club provides ongoing financial support to the Fairhope Educational Enrichment Foundation (FEEF), Supporting Education Enrichment in Daphne's Schools (SEEDS), Fairhope High Athletics and Band, Fairhope High Key Club, and Fairhope Middle Builders Club. You can support the club by playing golf and/or choosing one of several levels of sponsorship for the tournament. Registration is easier than ever this year with the introduction of ONLINE REGISTRATION. Players can register as teams, individually as members of a team, or as individuals and be assigned to a team. Sponsorships and additional donations can also be made through the online registration process. All major credit cards are accepted online.
