Happy 97th birthday, Kiwanis!

The Kiwanis Club of Fairhope and the Eastern Shore mourns the loss of one of our Members William Robert (Billy) LeGrone. Billy died July 8^th, 2011 while scuba diving in the Gulf of Mexico doing something he loved to do, spear fishing and participating in the Alabama Open Spearfishing Tournament.

Billy was instrumental in the success of our club and his passion for the children of our area will be felt for years to come.

At this time our thoughts and prayers are with his Family. Billy is survived by his wife Catherine Peake LeGrone; his children, Will LeGrone, Kirk LeGrone, Cameron Stallings, Caroline Stallings, and Lans Stallings, mother Betty LeGrone Brown (Fred), sisters Terri Spencer (Robert), Brenda Rickett (Bill) and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
